Welcome
This year, the World Federation of Spine Endoscopy's annual congress will take place for the first time in the Americas.
On behalf of the VI World Congress of Endoscopic Spine Surgery and MISS, we are pleased to invite you to participate in WFSEC25.
The WFSEC25 will take place from September 4-7, 2025, at the Bariloche Convention Center - (BEC), and Sheraton Hotel, in the city of Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina.
Bariloche is a city nestled among ancient forests, snow-capped mountains, and crystal-clear lakes, in the province of Río Negro, Argentina. It is a picturesque representation of our Patagonia, a city renowned for its hospitality, surrounded by some of the country's most breathtaking natural beauty.
The World Congress of Endoscopic Spine Surgery is the 6th edition in its history. It is the premier annual event with international recognition, offering updates on the latest trends and technological solutions in our medical specialty. It is the primary platform for academic discussion and global participation.
We are proud to announce that, for the first time, the congress will host the Il World Spanish - Speaking Meeting of Endoscopic Spine Surgery - ENDORAQUIS25, furthering our goal of strengthening ties between colleagues from Spanish-speaking countries.
Additionally, it will be held in conjunction with the XI Congress of the Interamerican Society of Minimally Invasive Surgery (SICCMI).
We will feature presentations by renowned speakers from all Spanish-speaking countries and the exclusive presence of internationally invited specialists, virtual conferences, workshops, scientific paper presentations, and award ceremonies.
The congress is open to all surgeons, spine practitioners, allied health care professionals, and researchers, and will offer a comprehensive program over 4 days.
The organization, the excellent level of invited specialists, and the setting of a beautiful city will make this global event a new success.
The scientific program will include pre-courses, intra congress symposia, society symposia, and peer-reviewed abstracts, scheduled to be presented as oral or e-poster presentations.
New this year, we will introduce rapid-fire sessions which allow accepted abstracts to present their research in 2-minute intervals. We are convinced that the oral and e-poster presentations, along with the symposia, will encourage lively discussions among participants and generate new ideas to help advance spine care. We hope you find it a valuable and rewarding experience.
This is an innovative addition to this year's congress: the abstracts accepted for presentation at WFSEC25 are published in this special online issue as a book with an ISBN.
We also welcome the following international spine societies, who will be supporting the WFSEC25: WESS - World Endoscopic Spine Society, ESFI - Endoscopic Spine Foundation (India), UBE - Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy Spine Surgery Turkey Society, ARMISS - Argentinian Association of Endoscopic & Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, SGOA - South Gujarat Orthopaedic Association, IMCECH - World Initiative for Spanish-Speaking Endoscopic Spine Surgery, ESSSA - Endoscopic Spine Society South Africa, ESSUBE - European Society of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy, UBESI - Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy International Society, AMCEBIC - Mexican Association of Endoscopic Biportal Spine Surgery.
We greatly value your ongoing support and look forward to continuing to benefit from your participation, which is essential to our future growth and success. We thank you again for your interest. We send you our warmest regards.
