Full day excursion.
Departure: 7:30 a.m.

During the excursion to Humahuaca, you enter Tilcara, giving the passengers the possibility of visiting Pucará if they so require, but this will have to be reconfirmed at the destination.

A trip through Quebrada declared a World Heritage Site, where the landscape and the colors of the hills are combined with the equally colorful cultures that inhabit this area. It is a trip of social contact and a view of the ancestors.

It begins with the arrival at the Pueblito de Purmamarca to observe the Cerro de los Siete Colores. Pass by the Posta de Hornillos, continuing towards the town of Tilcara. Continue towards Huacalera, passing the Tropic of Capricorn, from where you can see the colors of the hill called Pollera de la Colla.

Visit to the Church of Uquía, where the paintings of the Arcabuceros Angels are found (an important vestige in the area of the Cuzqueña school).

Arrival in Humahuaca with its important Cathedral and the Monument to Independence (El Indio) by the sculptor Soto Avendaño. Return after lunch (not included) to observe from the road the Painter's Palette that frames the town of Maimara. Arrival in San Salvador de Jujuy. Return to Salta.

Excursion High-Altitude Wine Route Tour – Cafayate
Full day excursion.
Duration: 12 hours approx.
Includes: Visit and tasting in 2 wineries, entrance to the Museum of the Vine and Wine. On Mondays the Museum is closed.
Not included: Meals.
Children's policy: Up to 1 year free. From 2 years old to 6 years old pay a special rate. From 7 years old full rate.

We leave from the city of Salta on Route 68 towards Cafayate, arriving at noon after crossing the Quebrada del Río las Conchas. We visit the Museo de la Vid y el Vino (closed on Mondays) and two wineries where we can taste their wines. We return to Salta by the same route.

Wineries that are today synonymous with the history of Argentine wine gave fame to the products of the Salta vineyards. In recent decades, many boutique wineries have joined them, and together they have raised the quality of local wines, ranging from traditional torrontés (white grape, icon of Cafayate) to excellent malbec, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and tannat.

This excursion proposes to discover the reason for the success of Salta wines, through a visit to two wineries (tasting included, of course) and to the Museum of the Vine and Wine, located in the center of Cafayate.

There is also the trip there, along the scenic National Route 68, which first crosses the Lerma Valley and then the wonderful Quebrada de las Conchas. The latter begins in the small town of Alemánia and covers 83 kilometers in which the view gives no respite, due to the colors of its hills and the incredible shapes drawn over thousands and thousands of years by the erosion of water and wind.

The Amphitheatre, the Devil's Throat, the Obelisk, the Toad, the Monk, the Castles and the Tres Cruces viewpoint are the most recognized attractions, although every meter of this road is unmissable. The return is done by the same road, but with a sunset light that brings the colors of the landscape to fantastic tones.

Wineries visited: NANNI, RECREO, TIERRA COLORADA, QUARA, VASIJA SECRETA, among others.
The wineries are always subject to availability, other options may be offered if those mentioned cannot be confirmed.
